This included specialist work on the Competent Authority pathway and Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) registration for fellowship training.
This service was built to solve a specific problem: UK and Irish doctors preparing for Australian registration have had to rely on either free, generalist guidance from recruitment agencies, or expensive, broad-scope migration consultancies not focused specifically on medical registration.
IMG Registration Australia is newly launched, built specifically around UK and Irish Competent Authority applicants. A note on independence: Jake Hoskin's medical workforce experience was gained in a hospital-based role at Queensland's largest tertiary hospital between 2020 and 2025, which has since ended. Jake does not currently work in medical recruitment, hospital workforce, or any role connected to AHPRA registration, doctor placement, or healthcare employers.
